I am not a very big fan of chocolate, but for time to time I must admit I crave for it. That being said, as I had bought carob powder a while ago (a very good substitute of cocoa for those like me, who don't tolerate cocoa very well), I thought I should use it wisely and cook something good with it.
That's how I cook a delicious chocolate cream, which is also very healthy as it does not contain gluten, dairy, soy or sugar.
I will leave you the recipe below, with the mention that you can use some other nuts and fruits. This time, besides the three main ingredients, I chose pomegranate seeds and pistachio and it was really good.
I also mention I am not vegan, but many of my recipes could be tried by vegans. For example, for this recipe I used honey, but you can use instead stevia extract or maple syrup. Or, if use some other sweeter fruits to pair this chocolate cream, you might not need any natural sweetener. It all depends on the taste.

Chocolate Cream - Ingredients
2 teaspoons of carob powder (or cocoa powder, as you wish)
1-2 teaspoons of natural sweetener (honey, maple syrup, stevia extract)
Optional: fruits and nuts
Wash and cut in two the avocado, cut then into cubes and place them in the blender or food processor.
Add the carob powder, then the natural sweetener.
Mix it very well. If your blender is not very powerful you might need to add in a little bit of still water or coconut milk.
You can decorate and enjoy it with pomegranate seeds and pistachios. This combination is great, but you can use some other nuts and fruits.

Does it taste like chocolate?
